Highly lustrous dark red rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals, displaying stepped growth, associated with prismatic aegirine crystals, typical of this new discovery. gemmy pale green sphaledrite aggregates and catapleiite crystals are also associated with the rhodochrosite and aegirine, an uncommon association of this discovery. Collected by Gilles Haineault in 2016.

Locality: Poudrette Quarry, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec Province, Canada.

Specimen size: miniature 4 x 3 x 2 cm.
