Fluorite, Rhodochrosite. Canada. 6 x 4 x 3.5 cm.

Highly fluorescent translucent to gemmy green, purple and colorless fluorite crystals associated with rhodochrosite, very small gemmy polylithionite crystals, quartz, and microcrystals of nenadkevichite. Interestingly, on this specimen there are ''exclusive" zones of purple and purple to green (color zoning) fluorite and the quartz crystals are strictly associated with these. The strictly green fluorite crystal aggregates are found in cavities and "open" spaces of the specimen. The colorless gemmy fluorite crystals are found scattered all over the specimen and their crystal habit appears to be strictly dodecahedral. Collected by Gilles Haineault in 2017.
Locality: Poudrette Quarry, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec Province, Canada.
