Rhombohedral Rhodochrosite crystals with dark pink colour, associated with Leifite, Aegirine and Albite. The Rhodochrosite crystals are covered by Rhodochrosite re-crystallized in the form of a crust and/or tiny crystals. Notice the fluorescence of Leifite and Albite crystals in the Fluorescent minerals section. Sawn and polished base to show the colour and gemminess of the crystals.
Locality: Poudrette Quarry, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec Province, Canada.
